My husband and I have visited Fortuna numerous times together and never had a bad experience. We absolutely love the pizzas which are cooked traditionally in a wood-fired oven and the service is always great. I have also visited on other occasions with friends & family, knowing that we’re guaranteed a lovely night with fantastic food. Although my husband & I like to visit different places, this is our go-to restaurant on a regular basis when we’re in need of a great meal out.

Visited after a day out in Newcastle. Very reasonable prices and great tasting food. There's an automatic 10% gratuity clearly displayed on the menu before ordering. I would have been happy with 25%. Parking nearby is cheap at under 2 for the maximum of 2 hours.

Had a lovely meal with the family here tonight. Such friendly staff and a welcoming service. Food was hot and filling and certainly favourable. Highly recommend the risotto and the seabass! Cocktails and mocktails are tasty too!

Such a lovely restaurant! Adriano has made a delightful oasis in my village of Gosforth If ever I want to treat my friends and family, or just myself, I come to Adriano’s Fortuna and I am transported into a happy place Lovely atmosphere, pleasant surroundings, always full of happy people. Delicious food , excellent wine, really nice staff. I’ve never had any complaints. Thoroughly recommend it ! I had the delicious Linguine Scoglio with the Verdiccio wine

Visited Fortuna on thursday evening and by god the food was simply amazing. The side portion roast garlic potatoes were so fluffy and the Calamari was so yummy. The main meal Ravioli was full of flavours and the Linguine Scoglio was amazing , the muscles, prawns were so fresh ..absolutely loved it !! Definitely be back

This place is a real delight! Super friendly and dancing staff, great coffee and food, lovely outdoor eating zone too. I had the vegetables panini and it was rosemary bread and packed full of flavour I highly recommend!
